The Navan Community Association (“NCA”) has established the Youth Volunteer Bursary to promote post-secondary education and volunteerism of the youth in our
community. 

1. Eligibility for the bursary:  any post secondary student who is a resident in the area that has completed a minimum of 100 hours of community volunteer service within the Navan community (Applicants are to provide a signed record – high school hour forms are acceptable)

Extra consideration will be given to the student who volunteers with multiple organizations in Navan (ie. NCA, Navan Lions, Women’s Institute,  Cumberland Township Agricultural Society etc.)

2. Applicants are to provide a transcript of marks achieved during the first semester of the year from the post secondary educational institution the student is attending.

3. One bursary in the amount of $1000.00 will be awarded each year to a successful applicant.

4. Non-successful candidates may apply for consideration in the following year.

5. Application forms for the Youth Volunteer BURSARY are available from the NCA Secretary or below
